Marc Cain teams up with outdoor brand Vaude for upcycled capsule

According to Marc Cain, the idea behind recycling the leopard print tent fabric was to design and market a limited edition accessory, while preserving the resources used during the fashion show and limiting CO2 emissions. The result was a shopper bag and toiletry bag made in Germany. Processing and production took place at Vaude’s Obereisenbach site on Lake Constance.

According to Marc Cain and Vaude, two big names in the Baden-Württemberg textile industry, the proximity of the sites meant that few emissions were generated by the transport of materials and products and they were offset by donations to the NGO MyClimate.
